Relatively easy find but in a really nice area. Basically paved
trails so no ticks to worry about. Site overlooks the marina on one
side & some of New Rochelle's priciest real estate on the
other. .5 miles from closest legal street parking, .2 miles from
permit parking area if you want to chance a ticket (I haven't
gotten one yet but they do enforce, especially during the
summer).
Cache keeps dissapearing but I keep replacing it. Several times,
however, people have reported it missing when it was still there.
It's hidden rather craftilly so look for it well!
Cache is a 32-oz clear plastic screw top container painted black
w/white mottling. Contains (to start) a kid's spy T-shirt, light
stick, bouncing sound ball, small brass box/incense burner, some
biohazard decals, screwdriver keychain, polished rocks.
Please be wary of being spotted, as this can be a well traveled
area close to a picnic site. I advise bringing a backpack, dropping
the whole cache in & then taking it to a nearby bench to
examine. Rehide the same way. Last couple of feet can be tricky,
careful with children.
