This is cache located inside The Parks at Chehaw, Albany, GA. This is one of my favorite parks for the whole family. It has a children’s play park, picnic areas, BMX track, RC Race course, Disc Golf course, stocked catfish pond, nature trails, boat dock on Lake Chehaw, Mountain Bike Trail, camping area and a zoo. The Parks host several major family oriented events throughout the year.
Like all outdoors in southwest Georgia, the park is blessed with wildlife to include some things to avoid (snakes, ticks, mosquitos - along with other biting insects.) and we can’t forget poison ivy and related plants.
Speaking of things to avoid, depending on the day, and time of day muggles may be around. Thus stealth may be required !
The cache is placed with permission from park Ranger.
