Geocache Description:

This a simple traditional cache and the fourth in an occasional series. There is a resurging interest in old fashioned past times such as picnics.

This series gives you a chance to find your old picnic rug, boil up a Thermos, grab a packet of TimTams and head for the hills.

The Adelaide Hills are a beautiful place. I have lived in the Hills all my life as has my family for generations before me. I am using my local knowledge. This picnic spot has been chosen for several reasons. It is under some big beautiful gum trees and peaceful but you don't need to go onto the dirt road! If the dirt road doesn't scare you and you would rather taste wine and picnic on table provided at a winery go 1 KM further up the road to Sinclair's Gully winery. It is an eco certified winery in a wonderful natural setting including Black Cockatoos! If you ring them ahead of time they will make you up a food platter but love you to bring your own picnic. Check out www.sinclairsgully.com. I never knew they were there until hunting for cache hide places! Cache includes mini tea caddy and special tea bags for FTF and Garden Angle travel bug who is keen to fly! You are looking for a 1 litre plastic fruit container painted black
