Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a small town right off U.S. Highway #2, ample parking.

South of Saco, Montana in the early 1900's a group of cowboys roped a grizzly bear. This may seem unreal but the event was captured on canvas. The painting by Charles M. Russell, titled "Loops and Swift Horses are Surer than Lead", shows this real life event that took place in the Larb Hills.

After locating the travel bug cache box you will need to walk about thirty feet to the East. You will find a rock monument. The combination to the cache lock is the year of the roundup.

Mosquito spray may be handy after dusk.
