Geocache Description:

[ENG] The cache is hidden close to Tellingumäe's watch tower and picnic place. From the watch tower of Tellingumäe you can see how curvy the Mustjõgi (Black river) is and how the river bed changes. You can also see the river bed before from the blue vessels. 1920-30 the river was deepened, before that it was even more curvy. Descending from Tellingumäe towards the Mustjõgi it's good
to notice ditches which stick out from Mustjõgi river's meadow and Koiva rivers's bank as an unbreakable line. These are war-time trenches. During Estonia's Freedom war in 1919 battles took place here against the reds.

Lurking around the picnic place we discovered a book by Gianni Rodari called" Cipollino's adventures" from a wooden shed. I remember from my childhood that it was a really good book. So we saved the book from potential book-burners and found a name for the cache.

Need on sõdadeaegsed kaevikud. Vabadussõja ajal peeti siin 1919. a. algul punastega lahinguid.

Olgu see nõnda."
