Grandkids Rock: This cache is now ten years old and never once has it actually gone missing. Every time I have checked on it due to DNFs it has been here, just more hidden than people like, and this is no exception. Checking on it constantly has grown tiresome, it's had a good run, and I pulled it today with the honoree in tow.

Geocache Description:

Today - October 17th - is someone's birthday. He is turning eight and proud of it. This is placed here to commemorate all the fun times we've had in the water. Not just swimming adventures - but also his urge to test the boundaries. It doesn't matter if it is 40 degrees out and we're standing by a mountain stream - he has to backup my assertion that it is indeed too cold. Only after turning blue will he claim he is "done" - but no admission of the chill factor escapes his knowledgeable lips. He will sink to the bottom of a pool for far longer than any of us silly adults think he should - testing his breath holding limits - and come up laughing. I love you Robot Monkey Boy - this one's for you!

Appropriately filled with traders - for that is a part of this game he truly enjoys as well - so if you take one please leave one.

Stay on the water access right-of-way. There is no need to cross - nor even go near - the neighbor's fence.
