Geocache Description:

PLEASE BE AWARE THIS IS A MULTI WAYPOINT GEOCACHE - FINDING THE FIRST WAYPOINT DOES NOT QUALIFY YOU FOR A FIND. YOUR "FOUND IT" WILL BE DELETED IF YOU DO NOT SIGN THE LOGBOOK AT THE FINAL. A WORD OF ADVICE AS WELL - IT IS MUCH EASIER TO ATTEMPT THIS MULTI-STAGE CACHE WHEN THERE IS LITTLE OR NO SNOW.

=================================================================== This is the famous six-part multi by star puzzle maker 3jaze who is no longer active as a puzzle-maker in the geocaching scene. Crimson Pirate, after being the able and conscientious adoptive owner for a number of years, has now given me the honour of ownership as a legacy to 3jaze' geocaching wizardry. So that the next generation of cachers can truly appreciate a very well crafted cache in it's original form, the coordinates and hiding places have remained unchanged. Enjoy! Okay, excuse my Latin. Located in Calgary, this is a six part cache. An automobile is required as the waypoints are a fair distance apart; but the caches themselves, are less than 1 km from available parking. You will have to be able to project waypoints to solve this conundrum. All bearings are TRUE bearings, not magnetic, and distances are in METERS, not feet. Some sort of mapping program is a big plus especially for GPSr units that cannot project bearing with at least one decimal digit accuracy. The first five waypoints will be either of small size or virtual caches. At the physical containers help yourself to one data slip which will get you on to the next cache. If there are no data slips inside the containers look for the information written in permanent marker on the container somewhere. The final cache is a camouflaged ammo box with the usual paraphernalia including the original log book. Look for special instructions inside the can, make note of what you need to do, but please do not remove these instructions. As you work through the multi-cache, keep all of your calculated waypoints. This is VERY important! Please re-seal the containers tightly. Total distance driving was just over 60 km and travel time in the car was about 2 hours. Good luck! Share with us how long it took to complete the series to Waypoint F, distances traveled (in the car, on the path). Did you have to revisit any waypoints? Which were easy, which were difficult? Thanks! First Waypoint: (Initial Location) And so the journey begins! Hike or bike. Here you’ll get bearing and distance to the second waypoint. This is a busy park so be mindful of non-geocachers and carefully rehide the cache so that it cannot be seen. The area is popular among deer, bring a camera! Please remember to tread lightly as you work your way through the waypoints so as not to cause damage to the natural areas you will need to visit. ===================================================================
