Bubba’s Snuff Can Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

bluegrassfan: I replaced Bubba's Snuff Can 4 times in 2015. I have decided to archive the cache since it is in need of replacement once again. Unfortunately, geocachers seem to be unable to replace all the components ts of the cache after logging it.

Geocache Description:

If you have been keeping up with Bubba you may remember that he and Bluegrassfan were fishing at Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, when Bubba got his Hook, Line and Sinker caught up. Did you help him find it? You should, you know. Before leaving the lake Bubba asked if Bluegrassfan had seen his snuff can. A regular snuff can is just too small for Bubba, so he puts his snuff in an ALTOID can. But we all know Bubba. Camouflage Tape + ALTOID can. Only Bubba. He doesn’t like shiny metal, and on a cold day the metal “gits kinda cold.” That was Bubba’s “fav’rite” snuff can. “Broke in you know. It kinda fits my bu….. Oops. Bubba said he ALWAYS keeps his snuff in his rear pocket. He said that’s where he put the last time he remembers having it.

Bubba says, “It takes up a little more room in muh back pocket, but it’s worth the saccerfice.” Bubba discovered if you put a real snuff can in your back pocket, a white circle shows up there eventually. Take out the snuff can, and if you do it just right, put an ALTOID can in the same pocket, and you can have a circle in a circle. “Kinda like a targit on my bu….”, says Bubba. Hold on, Bubba. Only Bubba could figure that one out. (this cache not an endorsement for use of tobacco products). While fishing, Bubba told Bluegrassfan some of his favorite things: Camouflage clothes, snuff, chewing, tobacco, roses, evergreen trees, hunting, fishing.

To open the cache container, you will see the edge of one of the pieces of camouflage tape that covers the lid. On the lid, near one end of the tape, press down with your thumb and the lid can be removed. There is no pen or pencil so you will need to provide your own. You must enter your find in the cache log to get credit, so please take something to write with. Please replace the Bubba’s Snuff Can exactly as you found it.
