Una salita scoscesa su un monte formidabile
A steep hike to a remarkable mountain
Raggiungi il parcheggio del Rifugio Pordenone via una strada di pedaggio (2012: 6 Euro per macchina) di Cimolais. Segui il sentiero fino a che arrivi al bivacco Perugini sotto al Campanile di Val Montanaia.
La prima parte della salita porta attraverso un ghiaione segnato con punti e piramidi di pietre. Dopo il ghiaione comincia la parte più aspra della salita - una forra ripida e rocciosa. Dopo la gola il terreno e meno arduo.
Il cache è nascosto a circa 5 min di distanza dal bivacco, sulla collina bassa con una grande vista sul Campanile e i monti circostanti. Differenza d'altezza: 950 m, 7 km. Progetta circa 5 - 7 ore per il giro.
Il cammino normale sul Campanile e un arrampicata di 5. grado classico.
Un alternativa un poco più facile, ma nondimeno difficile, è Itinerario Alpinistico "Luciano Micheluz".
Reach the parkingplace of Rif. Pordenone via a sometimes toll road (6 € per car) from Cimolais.
Follow the path 353 to the bivacco Perugini below the Campanile di Val Montanaia.
The first part of the ascent leads through a scree slope marked by dots and stone cairns. After the scree the most ardous part of the ascent begins - a steep rocky ravine. Once you pass the ravine the terrain becomes less steep.
The cache is hidden about 5min away from the bivacco at the little hill with a great view to the Campanile and the surrounding mountains.
Difference in height: 950m, 7km. Plan about 5 to 7h for the round trip.
The normal route to the Campanile is a classic class V climb
An easier but still difficult alternative is the Itinerario Alpinistico "Luciano Micheluz"
