A short walk through Crawford Park. A little math and a little searching.

Mrs. Crawford left her mansion and property to the Town of Rye to be used as a park for passive recreation -- geocaching fits the bill! It's got a mix of passive and active recreation going on there now, but is generally a quiet place. Its a great place for dogs (on a leash) or kids (there's a nice playground) or for just a stroll on the walking path at sunset.
Enter Crawford Park from North Ridge Street at: N 41 00.971 W 73 40.892. There's a small parking area on the left or you can proceed up the hill and park at the mansion.
The hunt starts at the given coordinates. You'll find an explicit reference to a specific latitude there -- it's an integer!
Take the two digits in that integer and add them together, add 1 to that and divide the result by 1000. Subtract that number from the starting latitude minutes to get the new latitude.
Take the same two digits and multiply them together and add 400. Divide the result by 1000 and add that to the starting longitude minutes to get the new longitude.
The cache is a 6 inch clear plastic container with a screw-on blue top. Initial contents:

- small deck of cards
- cool Coca-Cola pen
- rubber-cube puzzle
- square yo-yo
- pen, pencil, sharpener and log book
