Edit - Hint added 4 Jan 09 - to have climbed this far, it would be a shame to return without the find.
Despite what they tell you about this Mountain being named after some desperado, firstly there was another but he had a good streak.
So kind he was to those souls who wanted the challenge of climbing this majestic mountain, he chose to hide this cache somewhere where it didn't favour those who chose the fire trail over the Alpine Walk or vice versa.
The cache is located in the clearing where you best gather your strength before the final assault on the peak. I don't know whether it is legal, but the clearing was a great place to camp back in 1975.
Bring your own pen, it is a micro.
Enjoy the view when you get to the top.
