This is a trial of a new and what looks like a fun way to locate a geocache. As with all new ideas there are bound to be teething problems.
PLEASE NOTE :-The main problem we have noticed is that on SOME phones if you turn the phone sideways it stops the experience and goes back to the start screen. As a work around until a solution is found please either lock your screen or do not turn your phone side ways, even to take pictures.
This is our first attempt at an Augmented Reality Cache so please be gentle on us.

To find this cache you will need to download the Metaverse app here for either APPLE or ANDROID
1/. You will also need a GPS or GPS enabled smart phone or tablet to locate the final location.
2/. A pen and paper will be handy for taking notes of the clues and also the coordinates for the final location.
3/. A phone that is capable of taking pictures
4/. And a good sense of humour will help.
Fern is in trouble again and would like the assistance from some helpful geocachers to locate her treasure. The cache is not at the given coordinates but you will need to there. (you will be standing in a drive, next to bollards, leading to a dirt boat loading ramp.)

Once there click HERE using you smart phone or tablet.
A screen like the one to the left will appear.
Click on the Binoculars and a map will appear and lead you to your task OR Click on Fern to start the game.
Important Once the experience starts you may have to move your phone around to see Fern and the other characters. Instructions on the screen will tell you which way to move to see what you need, take it slow for a while so you don't miss anything. Every scene has a characters so keep an eye out.
We hope we have not made this look difficult, it really is not. We just wanted to try and make it easier for any first time AR players.
