In baseball, the two highest accolades are to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and to have your uniform number retired by the club (so no future player can ever wear that number again).

For those talented enough to achieve the feat, a simple ceremony is held during which they are presented with a ball which has been signed by every other member of this exclusive club and invited to add their own name.

So far, only a few baseball players have achieved the double distinction of a retired jersey and induction into the hall of fame. To solve this cache, you will join them.
