Meet and Greet 4-5pm at Pivot Cidery - 1400 Delaware Ave, Lexington, KY 40505
Captain koneko of the WDP's will be in the area for Geowoodstock and we wanted to have a local event for cachers to meet up with her.
Back in the OLD days around 2003 when Geocaching was in its' infancy, Jenn was one of the founding members of Geocky - Geocachers of Kentucky - along with Patrick (Paddy Yenar), Nate (hoys), Greg (Lil Bears), Eric (skree), Bob (IJump), and about half a dozen others. Most everyone has moved away including Jenn - but she is in the area to attend Geowoodstock as one of the few cachers who has attended all of them to date and wanted a chance to meet new local Lexington area geocachers and reunite with geocaching friends from years past.
This event is being held in true old-time Geocky style honoring team pint glass and hopefully will have at least 2 of the founding members present.
All Geocky members and newcomers alike are encouraged to attend.
We do plan to stay past 5pm but we only have a reservation on the private meeting room in the back from 4-5pm so if you come after 5pm we will be relocated into either the bar area or the outdoor patio, weather permitting.
