The events will be held over a three day period starting June 23 (
CG718Y5), June 24 (
GC718Y6) and June 25 (
GC718Y7). Geocachers and non-geocachers are are welcome to spend one or more days caching and camping.
There is no fee to participate in any of the geocaching events.
There will be a fee to camp at the Lakeside Marina and Campground.
Camping Information
The camping portion of the event will be at the Lakeside Marina Campground located at the Jamestown Reservoir.
We have reserved spots 9-28 and the four cabins for the NDGCA until two weeks before the event. Please call Mike at 701-320-6173 during normal business hours to reserve a spot.
Please mention that you are coming for "Geocaching".
This campground is popular during the summer and is typically full on the weekends. Due to the popularity of this campground, two weeks before the event starts (June 9), the unreserved spots will be released and available for anybody to reserve.
Fees for camping are:
$25.00 per night with water, electricity, and sewer
$15.00 per night for tent
$45.00 per night per cabin for up to 5 people. The cabins have heat and air conditioning, a small refrigerator, and a coffee pot.
You will need to bring your own bedding.
If you prefer a hotel over camping, there are plenty of
hotels in Jamestown.
