THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES, although you may use them for parking. This cache is located in Birdsong Park in Orchard Park, NY, just off the trail. Bring sturdy shoes for this cache.
Our birds, Alex and Rudy have dreams of taking over the world. They started by placing a geocache... One day, we returned home to find these two avians online, tapping away on the keyboard with their toes and bills. We are not quite sure what their plan is, but it involves sending birds out into the geocaching community through a cache...spies, I guess. Here's what we know: 1- The container is in Birdsong Park and contains toy birds. Please trade along the same theme, but avoid actual bird toys and treats for pets, as pet birds have delicate immune systems. 2- Rudy and Alex have encrypted tha actual cache coordinates. They are: OWIWINFUUGKZPNFUUGWLWMGRJVKROMKZPBYUFM NHTBQHSWJHWMEWZMZJIBWRSBPWIZVHQWZQUAZATMMHOWEH Although these coordinates made perfect sense to them, the meaning was lost on us. As they tapped away, they were chanting "Bird is the word. Bird is the word." Obviously, these small souls have big egos. This is a trade-up cache. Please keep to the bird theme. The container includes several small toy birds, including a flamingo, amazon parrot, budgie, macaws, duck and hummingbird. Enjoy your day in Birdsong Park!
