Leptoceratops: Hello!
I'm archiving your cache as it has been disabled for more than a one month and it is lost, completely damaged or inappropriate. Caches should be visited and maintained within 30 days after disabling.
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

If there are still leftovers from container I would appreciate if other players could collect them so that there is no trash in the nature.

Happy geocaching!

Geocache Description:

[LT] Lobis paslėptas prie seniausio Mažeikių mūrinio pastato - geležinkelio stoties, vadintos Nitauska. Turėkit savo rašiklį, taupykit logbook'o vietą :)

[EN] Cache is hidden near oldest brick building in Mažeikiai - train station, which was called Nitauska. BYOP. Save space on logbook :)

[LT] 1869 m. pro Mažeikius, kurie tik buvo pradėję kurtis, pradėta tiesti Liepojos - Romnų geležinkelio linija. 1871 m. rugsėjo 4 d., tolėliau nuo kaimelio, pradėjo veikti pirmoji Mažeikių geležinkelio stotis. 1873 m.

[EN] In 1869, when Mažeikiai was only starting to settle in, rail branch Liepaja-Romni was built. In 1871, further away from the village, the first train station started to work. In 1873, rail branch to Riga was built, so in the same year second, bigger station began to work. This station was called Mintauja or Nitauska.

Today, not many of Mažeikiai population know, that this station is the oldest brick building in the current Mažeikiai teritory and that road which leads to the ex-station is the only left road made of stones in Mažeikiai.
