The second in what will be my "Mary Poppins" series.Continue the cache title for a locational clue ! The nearby Health Centre May help with the medicine. The cache draws attention to the Village of Kennington which has interesting buildings. Lots more can be found in the local library which you will have passed ,in village hall.( Library need saving from cuts!) The nearby 19C Pharmacy building was called Alexandra Villas ,one of the original houses in the village built in 1880. A Mr Les Belcher lived there until his death in 1988. Now two residences and two shops. Almost a E shape . An alternative parking place, if you intend taking your sugar in a hoppy medium, would be the Tandem pub across the road . This was formerly know as The Fish Inn .The name change was associated with the sporting habits of Oxford students who were forbidden to drive their horses 'in tandem' within the city. It became fashionable to drive out from Oxford with only one horse and harness a second from the stables at the inn which was then ,of course, in Berkshire.
