A great promotory in Auckland that screams for a visit.
You can drive pretty close to cache and a short walk to see the views and wildlife.
This spot is has a long history... Originally a Pa site of the Ngaitai Tribe. Perfect place for defence.
This site was later used for a Radio Station and a Station building was built during the Second World War and dedicated to Captain Edwin Musick who was lost at sea on the "Samoan Clipper".
He was a pioneer aviator in the Pacific Basin area. Take some time to walk thru the gardens and you will undoubtedly notice the abundance of rabbits. Some don't look wild. Likely pets that have been released.
The views are great at the point. My favourite views in the world.. And I have seen a lot of it.
The cache is small system in a suitably camoflaged in a TechnoKitten Camo Bag and hidden.
Beware there are cliffs close by but you won't have to venture close to them to find cache.
A seat is close by you can rest your weary limbs and enjoy the view before you hunt the cache which is within 12 metres if you are sitting on the right seat.
Please conceal cache as you find it.
Be aware that the gates close at 6:00pm precisely
