With another event planned for January, it seemed
only right that I combined it with the much enjoyed KhoomThropp
series of events to continue the successful run of midweek get
togethers. The original plan was to choose one of the fine Real Ale
pubs in Sale but after discovering a cache free location ideal for
some NIGHT CACHING, The Mersey Farm
became a perfect and convenient location.
Good value meals are available in the restaurant.

thanks. Please note also that children are not allowed in the
bar/restaurant after 9pm.
The Plan? Meet from 7pm onwards for a
drink, meal if desired, geochat with friends old and new and a spot
of night caching in the nearby woods. (After trying this for the
first time at KT5, I just KNEW that I had to hide some!!) Must
admit though that I wouldn't go into those woods alone at
night.....so, unless you're very brave, of course, this is a great
opportunity to try it in the company of others.....you never know
what you might find!!
Just in case you don't read the
hint....there will be a geocaching prize for the most appropriately
dressed teddy to accompany you into the woods! So feel free to
bring yours along.
There will also be a puzzle to solve to find a
bonus cache. Mobile phones with internet access may be required to
help solve it!
