Master-hiker: My age and failing health are preventing me from doing the required scheduled maintenance on my geocaches. So reluctantly I have archived and physically removed this geocache. I plan to archive my remaining geocaches as weather, time and my health permits. It has been a pleasure being part of the geocache community and will miss these activities.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Cape Scott Provincial Park.To get to the TH, from Highway 19, approx 2 Km south of Port Hardy, take Holberg Road and travel 45.5KM to Holberg. Continue on San Josef Main and follow the Cape Scott Provincial Park signposts. The Cape Scott/San Josef Bay trailhead is about 18.5 Km from Holberg (65 Km from Highway 19). There is a parking lot, toilets & picnic tables at the TH.

For those adventurous people that are looking for a challenging & rewarding hiking & geocaching experience, this is it! As can be noted from the attached links, the Cape Scott Trail-North Coast Trail hike is a venture one will not soon forget! This cache is a small L&L and has several tradeable items; it also has a FTF! Bring your own pen. Please hide the cache just as you found it. Do not place markers/flags near the geocache location. After you have relaxed & taken in the beauty of this Park, continue the cache hunt by continuing up, or down on this trail! Enjoy this adventure!
