There is plenty of parking at Carver's Gap (as well as pit toilets) but dress warm! It's usually 10-20 degrees cooler up here than down at the bottom. At the meet and greet we will share geocaching stories, share and trade trackables, and just enjoy the view. If you have a favorite piece of geocaching hiking gear, bring it along to share. We will meet out by the big sign advertising the turn up to the Roan Gardens. (As a bonus, you can be in two different states within just a few feet up here!)
Optional Hike: Appalachian Trail: Carvers Gap to US 19E is a 13.6 mile hike. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. A shuttle will be set up for 3 additional drivers (or 3 groups of cachers). Message CO for details if interested.
