Celebrate Earth Day, as any other geocacher would, assisting in cleaning up or beaches.
Over 30 years, Adopt-A-Beach is an event open to the public, to come out to the Island, and assist in cleaning miles and miles across the shoreline. Now we ate providing the opportunity to our fellow geocacher here in the RGV,to come out and assist, as well as gave fun. The location for check in, is at CITY BEACH ACCESS #3, aves to the parking, is through Gulf Blvd, between Palm and Corral streets. Although, the city will be on soft, we have coordinated with the organizer of the event, and they ate aware of fellow geocachers hoping to be in attendance. We ask you to at least pickling up litter, for about a mile, or more, down the shoreline, and record your findings on the paper issued at check in. Check-In time begins at 9 AM, and the event runs until noon, but not required to stay the three hours.
