Geocache Description:


In May, 2008 we were passing this location and ended up in the middle of lots of hot air balloons descending and landing in the nearbly parking lots and fields. The balloons were concluding the 2008 Kentucky Derby Festival Great Balloon Race and just needed an open area to land. We stopped and watched as 20 to 30 balloons landed and then chased a couple of balloons that passed over this area and landed about a mile to the south. Later we returned and hid a cache in the trees nearby.

There is plenty of parking near the cache. The cache is not accessible from the nearby Interstate highway ramp. You are looking for a pill container a little bigger than a 35mm film container. Bring your own pen.
