NOTE: This is a new location so check the coordinates to make sure you have the latest. Refinds are welcome. This was moved to a different part of the trail that should be a safer feeling. Depending on when you go and who meet there have been some disreuptable types that hang out down there. But it is also a wonderful area and nice wooded trail by the river. The area is also having some new construction and a boardwalk added soon.
One of the qualities I enjoy about Nashua is the contrast between the city and more secluded trails and paths. Mines Falls is the best example of this with several excellent caches. This is another area right downtown a little further downstream. Parking on the North bank of the river in a large parking lot shared by day with BAE in a large mill building on the river and Margerita's, a very fun gringo-Mexican resteraunt in a mill building at the dam. It also houses a fish ladder for the dam and a hydroelectric generator. If you want more traditional food there is a really small Taqueria on Canal Street across from the parking lot and a Columbian grill.
Other parking available on the South bank where the riverside trail ends at the Public Library or by Temple Street.
