While at a harbor flea market last summer, I picked up this curious map. The old sea dog who gave it to me claimed to be a descendant of pirates-- can you believe it? He mentioned something about hiding his booty in the peninsula hills, but I was too engrossed in the map to pay much attention. What the heck... nothing was labeled!
The sailor gave me some coordinates in the general area, but warned that I'd need to decipher the map to find the exact location of the pirate plunder.
Avast! Replace the treasure box exactly as you find it! It hangs against a tree trunk, suspended a few inches above the ground, and when positioned smartly it's completely hidden from all passing landlubbers.
