Geocache Description:

IT'S NOT IN THE TREE....keep looking!
Mitchell Park is home to East Troy’s Youth Baseball and Softball teams. On any given summer night, these fields are packed full of cheering parents and determined kids. With two young children who both play, I am often faced with the “who to watch” dilemma. On many occasions I have walked past this cache location from one child’s game to another.

There is a certain joy that comes with watching young children play ball. I have witnessed my daughter lap someone while running the bases in t-ball. I have chuckled when she stopped at a base and picked it up to shake it off because it was dirty. I’ve watched my son run the bases with his fingers through the holes in his helmet to keep it on. I’ve even had to yell his name in a stern Mom’s voice when he was spinning in circles in the outfield hoping to get dizzy and fall down. With two children I cannot see all of their games, but the paths that are worn between some of these fields is the testament to all the parents who give it their best shot.

Hats off to all the other baseball and softball moms out there! Pull up a lawn chair and enjoy the game!

Congratulations to denise&john on your 1st FTF!

A special thank you to the East Troy Parks and Rec Dept. for granting permission to place this cache.
