World Wide Flash Mob events across Australia and around the world
will occur.
At precisely 10:00 a.m.
Albany will celebrate Christmas in May as our contribution to the
mega event.
You are welcome to enjoy 15 minutes of
fun
CHRISTMAS IN MAY
THEME:
Everyone is to wear something Christmassy.
Drag out those Santa hats, reindeer antlers, tinsel
But .. you must hide your outfits (in a shopping bag maybe) until
the very last second
ITINERARY:
(use your GPS clock to be accurate)
9:45 AM - 9:59 AM
Participants wait patiently and/or stroll around the Town Hall,
library, carpark or York St.
As best as you can, act like a muggle
Pretend not to know each other or give any indication that
something is about to happen.
At 9:59 AM slowly begin to move towards ground zero (the grassed
area next to the library).
STAY AWAY from ground zero until the signal is given.
The signal is Santa ringing his
bell
10:00 AM
HO HO HO
Put on your Christmas gear.
Converge on ground zero.
Look for the Santa with the ammo box
Log slips will be handed out – you must fill one in to be
able to log an attend.
Bring your own pen, pencil, or stamper.
Sign your team log slip and drop it in the collection box.
Next – mingle round chatting and ho ho ho ing.

Listen carefully and quickly follow all directions given by
photographer as to where to line up.

Lucky draw.
Team names
will be drawn out. Prizes include:
1. The right to claim FTF.
2. An official 7 sided WWFM VII geocoin
3. Caching paraphenalia
(donations of other prizes gratefully accepted)
10:14 AM
One minute warning is announced:
"It is now 10:14. Prepare to
leave!"
Organizers will seal up log container for
transport.
10:15 AM EXACTLY
Everyone takes off their Christmas gear and
leaves immediately!
AFTER THE
EVENT:
Although everyone has just walked away as though nothing has
happened, we would like you to join us on the other side of the
library in the Alison Hartman Gardens for a cuppa and a chat.
Co-ords will be approximately S35 01.344 E 117 52.982. Meet some of
the other teams who have tantalised you with tricky caches, swap
caching stories, just have fun
Please log your intention to attend and include
numbers so we can make sure everyone is fed and watered. This page
