Lauzelle est l’un des quartiers résidentiels de Louvain-La-Neuve. Vous imaginiez LLN comme un affreux ensemble de blocs de béton couvert d’auditoires et où résonnent les cris des guindailles d’étudiants ? Détrompez-vous, vous serez surpris par la verdure et le calme qui caractérisent les paisibles quartiers périphériques où la qualité de vie est exceptionnelle. La plupart des riverains ici sont d’anciens étudiants, et ce sont à présent leurs enfants qui vont à l’unif – à pied ou à vélo. Bon amusement !
Ce parcours familial de 4 km complète le projet de géocaching à Louvain-La-Neuve (LLN) initié en 2006. Cette série thématique de 7 multi-caches de 2 à 4 km chacune vous emmène à la découverte du sensationnel labyrinthe de ruelles étroites, venelles charmantes et sentiers cachés de la surprenante cité universitaire brabançonne bâtie sur le modèle des cités moyenâgeuses. Outre « LLN Centre Urbain » et « LLN Einstein » les cinq quartiers résidentiels font chacun l’objet d’une balade géocaching sympa, outre la présente LLN-Lauzelle : « LLN Hocaille », « LLN Baraque », « LLN Biéreau » et « LLN Bruyères.
Lauzelle is a residential district of Louvain-La-Neuve near Hocaille and Blocry. You thought that LLN was an awful concrete town where a lot of drunken students shout every night ? Not at all. You will be surprised by the quiet and the picturesque character of the peripheral districts with an exceptional quality of life. Most of the inhabitants are old students. Today, their children are student themselves and go from their home to the university by foot or by bicycle. Enjoy !
This 4 km walk is resolutely designed for families. It is part of the geocaching project in Louvain-La-Neuve (LLN) launched in 2006. Thanks to this thematic serie of 7 multi-caches (2 to 4 km each) you will discover the amazing labyrinth of small streets and hidden footpaths across a university town built on the model of the medieval cities. Beside “LLN Centre Urbain” and “LLN Einstein”,, the five surrounding residential districts are each the object of an original geocaching walk : “LLN Lauzelle”, “LLN Hocaille” “LLN Baraque”, “LLN Biéreau” and “LLN Bruyères”
