On BLM land. Park at N47 22.065 W117 49.811 (closed when wet)
Located in marginal land in channeled scablands. Farmed by the Folsom family 1902-1910. Changed hands many times and sat abandoned for years. House burnt down Aug 5,1998, but barn andstorage shed still exist. BLM took over area in late 90's and made into interpretive area and restored wetlands. Built observation area for public. Allow time to read/listen to signs. I go there for wildlife observation/photography and rarely see anyone.Enjoy!!!
