The Historical Society of Pomona Valley is holding a cleanup at Spadra Cemetery from 8 a.m. to Noon on May 18th, so we're holding a CITO during that time.

This CITO is a bit different in that it is more about brush clearing and grooming rather than trash pickup. 

The CITO is officially scheduled from 9-11 am, but cachers are welcome or encouraged to arrive earlier and/or stay later than our posted time. 

This will also be an ideal time to find GC10BVQ Memento Mori which is located near the cemetery. 

If the Historical Society postpones or cancels their cleanup for any reason, then the CITO will also be postponed or canceled.

Tools and Supplies: 

Even after last months cleanup there is still plenty of yard work to do. Mustard and other weeds have grown tall this year because of all the rain we've received. 

Please bring yard tools! Suggestions: gas or battery operated weed whackers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, rakes, shovels, hoes, poles saws, loppers and pruners.

There are some large downed branches that could use a chainsaw, and a wheelbarrow would be helpful to move the yard waste to the dumpster.

Definitely bring water, a hat, gloves and some sunscreen
