Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache and/or because the Cache Owner has not been online for several months. If the owner would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Wong Lung Hang is in the southeast Tung Chung valley, East has Ap Kuk Lek (721m), north has Pok To Yan (529m), South has Tai Tung Shan (869m) and West has Shek Sze Shan (344m). Except for a very narrow path, Tung Chung Hang, connects to outside, it is all surrounded by mountains.

The west ridge of Ap Kuk Lek is a steep, there has a little old village near the flat valley, also called Wong Lung Hang. Today, most of the agricultural land has been abandoned. At the back of the abandoned village, there has a ravine.

A folklore story starts from here that at South Song Dynasty (南宋), Yongfu Mausoleum (永福陵) was built for Emperor Jing Yan (帝昺) in 800 yard from northeast of the abandoned village.

Of course, we are geocachers, not tomb raiders. You don't need to climb up the steep ridge or explore the ravine. However, we should have little bit adventure under this folklore, right?

To reach the GZ, you require to cross the Wong Lung Hang Stream if you walk from the paved path. How exciting of your trip is vary depending on what kind of weather you kickoff your journey. Well prepared to fight with the flying muggles if you go at summer time.

GPS is jumpy at GZ. I've taken 45 averaging but still has 6m accuracy.
