The Cedar River Trail follows the Cedar River from it's mouth at Lake Washington to the community of Landsburg. Part of the trail shares the location of a historical railroad route between the river and State Route 169. At 17.3 miles long, it consists of a mainly paved surface. The trail is great for a variety of activities including running, biking, skating, walking, and many more. It offers views and access to Lake Washington, Renton Municipal Airport, downtown Renton, Cedar River Park, Maplewood Golf Course, Ron Regis Park, Cedar Grove Park, and Maple Valley.
This part of the trail is more quiet than others as far as foot traffic. It makes up for it with the roar of airplanes on the other side of the river. Have a seat after finding the cache just in the vegetation line and decided which kind of flight do you prefer, man made or Mother Nature.
