Pen-Y-Ghent Fossils.

Lockey Beck. North Yorkshire

Do you want to see some great fossils?

Do you like EarthCaches?

If the answer is yes, then why don't you come to the event location, have a piece of cake, a chat, talk EarthCaches, take caching, and just visit a nice location. The event will last 30 minutes. Please be aware that whilst it is a short walk from the road, that it can be rough underfoot. Then again, I feel it is accesible to all apart from wheelchairs, and strollers. I like people to enjoy the geology of the region, and there are other EarthCaches in the region should you choose to visit them. The drive from near the event location to Littondale is also one of the most dramatic in the Dales.

I'm a friendly bloke, so there will be no fear of rejected EC answers, or a feel like you are doing a BSc.

Please remember that it is an upland area, so you need to come prepared for what the area can throw at you.
