The Market Street TB Caboose is placed with the kind permission of the West Chester Railroad Company
And is dedicated to the people who have worked on the Railroad over the years.
The locks on the container have been changed to use combination locks. There is physically nothing at the Key stage now.
Left hand lock is the first 4 numbers of the key location's Northing coordinates.
Right hand lock is the last 4 numbers of the key location's Westing coordinates.
To open Set the numbers and push the locks, they will pop open. The lid sticks; pull firmly up.
To close Close the container lid firmly, change the lock numbers to 0-0-0-0 and push the locks in. You may need to press slightly up on the right edge of each lock to engage it.
Please follow these guidelines:
- You do not have to cross the active tracks!
- Come in the mornings, evenings or days the train doesn't run to avoid crowds. If you want to ride the train, best bet would be to get the cache before or after the train leaves.
- I do not recommend this cache at night.
- The Railroad people are protective of their equipment. Half of the outer box is theirs, so don't be alarmed if you're approached by someone asking what you're doing.
- Please only use the boxes marked "GEOCACHE" or with the "GEOCACHE" sticker.
- Cache-In, Trash-Out
Best parking is just off Market Street, down the alley to the west of the tracks.
