After hiking the Byram trail I noticed this area and thought that it would be a good spot for a cache and I was working on one that would go here perfectly. Enjoy!!
The Recreation Director of Byram Township contacted me and said that there were a few new trails in Byram. She asked me to a meeting of the rec committee to explain Geocaching and asked if I would be able to place some new caches on the trail to draw people to hike in Byram. Wow, people are calling me to place caches, how cool is that. I was waiting for approval from the Byram Town council. With permission granted, off we went to hike this new trail. I have to say that this trail is awesome. It is well blazed. Some of the views are really spectacular. We placed a series from start to finish of the trail. It takes about 2 to 2-1/2 hours to hike from one end and back. We also hiked it with one car at Jones lane starting at CO Jonson Park. There are no trespassing sings at the end by CO Johnson park. They are old and no longer apply. This land is owned by Byram Township and its okay to hike here. You will also see the same signs coming up the trail around the Sour Grapes cache. Hope you enjoy the new trail and the caches.
