Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a small neighborhood park (Gatling Park) off of Broadview Avenue. The best parking can be found at N 35 06.070 W 92 27.664. This 13-acre park has two playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, a softball field, a few picnic tables and abundant green space with lots of shade. Bring your blanket and have a picnic before playing a game of Geocache Football.

GEOCACHE FOOTBALL

This multi-stage cache has seven stages. However, it may not be necessary to find each stage (unless you are unlucky). The coordinates and hint given are for the kick-off cache (stage one). Once you find the kick-off cache you will have to pick from a list of three coordinates. The coordinate or “play” you pick will lead you to the next stage of the cache. The next stage will present you with another list of coordinates to pick from. Your ultimate goal is find the Touch Down cache which is a small metal ammo box. The caches are “creatively” hidden and utilize “creative” containers. There is no need to go on any private property or into any tall grass.

If you get stuck and cannot find a certain stage simply go back and pick another set of coordinates. If you need a hint please email the coordinates of the stage you could not find.

This game should be fun for a team of cachers to play. Congratulations to Phantom491 for being first to find, a $10 dollar donation was made in his name to the Arkansas Geocachers Association.

1-4-05 update - The original cache container (a small ammo box) was muggled. I replaced it with a micro for now.
