Welcome to the DTW Detroit airport travel bug crash pad. Pilots live lots of places, and it’s not practical to purchase homes in each location. Locally live 4 pilots who share a common residence much like you would an apartment, before going off to work flying around the country and beyond. What better place to have a gathering point for the travel hungry travel bug.
This cache is meant for travel bugs who are looking to do some serious out of state travel hand delivered by one of aviations finest. Located just off a walking path, this cache is made to be an easy find so don’t think too much! You do not need to go in to the swamp. Parking is a breeze! Enter at the Highlands Village sign off Pennsylvania Ave.
Rules:
1: Travel bugs that are enclosed.. for example, Teddy bears, little stuffed things, liquid, gels, and pills will not be allowed in this cache and will not be transported.
2: Do not remove a travel bug without the intention of moving it at least 100 miles.
3: Please try not to remove a bug without placing one in its place. If you don’t have a bug or coin to trade please just “discover” in your logs. This way there will always be a travel bug in the cache for each visitor to the Crash Pad.
4: Log Book must be signed by geocaching tag name, and travel bug name if placed. (no tracking codes)
5: No dollar store treasures without travel bugs please!
