This is a scenic trail along Tannery Brook.
Cache: Cache container is a small camouflaged dry case with log and pencil.
Cache Location: If you are coming from Westbrook on 25 take a right on to 202 before you hit the four way in downtown Gorham. You are looking for Wentworth Drive on the left which is the entrance for Gorham Savings Bank main offices. On the right before you turn into the bank lot is small section of roadway with parking for two vehicles on the left. Park at the parking coordinates and walk past the gate down the road.
The trail is open to the public by the Land Trust. The cache is not far down the road and to the right. Once you have secured this cache walk further down the road to view a beautiful small pond on the left and a nice picnic table where you can sit and take in the view. If you have the time, proceed past the pond on to the Tannery Brook # 2 cache.
