Op deze plek heb je een mooi zicht op 2 torens die de skyline van Steenokkerzeel mee bepalen.
Torens hebben altijd al een maatschappelijke functie gehad, in het verleden maar zeker ook in het heden.
De huidige kerk dateert uit de 16de eeuw maar onderging in de loop der jaren tal van veranderingen. In de toren zit ook een beiaard die je op regelmatige basis kan horen spelen vanop het plein.
De luchtverkeerstoren staat er sinds 2005 en is 65m hoog. De toren zorgt voor de landende en opstijgende vliegtuigen. Hij geeft hen toestemming om te landen of op te stijgen. Op de eerste verdieping zijn de kantoren en technische lokalen van de dienst Meteo.

Neem één foto waarop de 2 torens staan en plaats deze bij je log. Er zijn zeker plekjes vanwaar dit lukt, al moet je misschien even zoeken 
The 2 towers of Steenokkerzeel...
At this location you will have a nice view on 2 towers that create the skyline of Steenokkerzeel. Both towers have or had an important funtion now and in the past. On one side you have the 16th century church tower and on the other side the traffic control tower that was build in 2005 and is about 65m high.
Your mission to log the cache
Take 1 picture that contains both towers and attach this to the log. There are certainly some places that will alow you to do this. You don't even have to leave the airport, that's what we call a quick pick-up .
