Trapper's Treasure Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TheVogonPoet: Hi,

This cache has been in need of maintenance for an extended period of time. Due to the lack of response toward the needed maintenance since the last contact, I am archiving the cache to keep it from showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Thanks!

Geocache Description:

This cache is at a local historical site. Alex & Emma settled in this area in the 1930's raising 5 daughters. They made their living trapping, fishing and growing vegetables for canning & selling.

This site is a short 5 minute walk on a well groomed path from parking or you can pull your boat or canoe to the shore. There are benches & a picnic table if you decide to stop for a break.

We believe we've placed this cache in a non-wildlife access. Please remember to keep any scent of food from the container as other caches in this area have been destroyed by bears.

The cache contains: log book, pencil, some small trade items & TB DSRT RT 6.
