This cache, being hidden for the FCC2018 Challenge, Is an extention of the previous two caches, Woody Woodpeckers Place GC6R0BZ and Gnarly Talon GC6R0AA, that I have hidden at the McKellar Island Bird Observatory (MIBO) grounds. Please handle the container by the lid and not what is attached to it. If you continue your journey up the trail you will discover the base camp and the nets used to net, band and safely release the migrating birds in the area. Please do not disturb the nets or any equipment and respect the area. Important work collecting essential data is being done here. You may observe John Woodcock and his crew between the hours of 6a.m. and noon during the migratory spring and fall seasons. You can also visit their facebook page at McKellar Island Bird Observatory. You will require to BYOP to sign the log.
