Utah State Route 12, a designated Scenic Byway, starts south of Panguitch at the crossroad of US 89, and continues east 122 miles towards Torrey. Along the way the road passes through some of the most beautiful landscapes you will ever see.
Perhaps my favorite part of the drive is just north of Boulder where the road climbs up on a fin of sandstone, with drop offs of several hundred feet on both sides of the road. In your log, please feel free to share what part the road you find most interesting.
