Playland Traditional Geocache
ecotopian: Area may be potentially problematic so I'm not going to bring this cache back just for safety's sake. I'm sure it's probably safer than some areas that have caches but I don't want to take the risk of sending innocent cachers (are there such things? *s*) into harm's way. Thanks to everyone who hunted for it and sorry for the poison oak if anyone got it.

Use the cement river trail accessible at either Playland Park or Dodge Park. Distance from parking might be the hardest part. Terrain and hide aren't that bad. Some tree cover might obsure signal.
Several ways to get to this cache, but probably the easiest way is at the trailhead at: N41 15.523 W095 55.075.The cache itself is family friendly. However if you park at Playland, you will have to go under an overpass which is often spraypainted inappropriately for minors. [Edit: 5/10/04 Because of some parking issues and fence jumping some people were doing, I'll add that you should park at Playland Park or Dodge Park. No fence jumping is needed there. A good parking spot for Dodge Park/Harrah's Parking lot is at N41 15.321 W095 55.079. Walk up the small hill and meet the cement trail there. 8/1/04 Adjusted the difficulty ratings. I originally used that one suggested website that helped you rate your cache and it made it seem a lot harder than it really was. Your main difficulties will be the mosquitos and the various levels of grass. Other than that it's pretty easy.]
