Geocache Description:

This event has been set to help Sagina nivalis (Rob) celebrate finding all the surviving Welsh trigpoints. On the morning of Sunday 10th August 2008 he will climb Colva Hill to bag the trigpoint there and then head off to The Hundred House Inn for lunch. In the afternoon, he will climb Red Hill to bag his last Welsh trigpoint. Each hill is approximately a 5km trip. You are invited to join in for all or part of the day, either the morning or afternoon climb or both, or simply for lunch at the pub.

The Hundred House Inn will be serving Sunday roast: choice of beef, lamb or pork (vegetarian option available) with fresh vegetables at a cost of £6.50 per head (£4.00 for children). Puddings will also be available. There are two cask ales available at the bar, Brains and Reverend James. Pre-booking for lunch is pretty much essential - they will continue serving food until it runs out. Lunch starts at 12 noon, with the morning climbers aiming to be there by 1pm.

We will have the usual travel bug and geocoin swapping at the pub. To log the event you can either take part in one of the climbs or pop along to the pub. Rob will be inviting some non-caching, trigpointing friends - we shall have to introduce them to geocaching.

Timetable:

10.30am Colva Hill climb (assemble at 10.15am at the waypoint given - parking SO202532)

12.00 noon Lunch at The Hundred House Inn - SO113545 (climbers aiming to arrive around 1.00pm) - lunch will continue to be served until they run out of food. The pub is open all day.

2.30pm (TBC) Red Hill climb (assemble at 2.15pm at the waypoint given - parking SO143493, with overflow at SO143503 - car sharing from the pub would be a good idea where possible)

Back to the pub afterwards for those that want to. Rob has to leave by 6pm.
