This segment of the Bay Area Ridge Trail is thin on caches, so I thought I would address that. It runs from Wunderlich Park to Huddard Park, parallel to Highway 35 but far enough down the hill to be quieter. The first part is mostly second-growth redwood, later on you'll see more tanoak and Douglas fir. It's shady for the most part, a good hike for a warm day. The trail closes a half hour after sunset; San Mateo County Park rules apply.
The hide is a few feet above the trail. You're looking for a bison tube attached to a stick. The stick is visible, please keep it that way, I hate it when people hide my caches "better" so I can't find them. Since GPS reception may be poor, you'll probably need the hint ... but maybe not. Happy caching.
