Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The purpose of this cache is to introduce geocachers to
PhotoChaining: A traveling digital camera memory card with images
taken by users. When the card is found, one selected image is
posted to the PhotoChaining website as described at
http://www.photochaining.com/. At each exchange, the existing
images are deleted and the new participant takes a few new pictures
and moves the memory card on to a new location—a new
geocache.
The PhotoChaining memory card started in this cache is linked to a
Travel Bug, TB1CY2K. Remember to log the Bug move in the usual way
by going to the Travel Bug website. We have placed a few images on
the card to start the process. The website will direct you to: 1.
Visualize the photos present on the memory card and send one of
them to photochaining@gmail.com. Don't forget to indicate in your
email the name of the memory card, the location (cache) where you
found it, and the date. The name of this card is, “GEOPHOTOS” 2.
Erase all photos from the memory card and take new ones. 3. Do the
same as explained above—move the card to a new cache, but please,
do not change the name of the memory card when leaving it behind so
it can be tracked on the PhotoChaining website. A complete
explanation is included with the memory card. If PhotoChaining
grows in popularity, other cachers may leave a card in this cache.
Otherwise, the usual swag items can be traded. The FTF prize is the
memory card and travel bug. You can choose to follow the
PhotoChaining procedure, or just pass it on to another cache as a
conventional travel bug.
