A few of us decided to put on a Maker Madness event - hopefully this event will be accepted by Groundspeak as an official Maker Madness Event, and attendance will earn you a nice souvenir for your profile.
When? Tuesday 1st April 2014, 7:00pm onwards (raffle at 8:30) until 10:00pm
Who? Geocachers interested in making and hiding (and finding) weird and wonderful caches
Where? The Bun Penny, 36 Manor Way, Lee-on-the-Solent, PO13 9JH
Come and join us for a rather different event. Simon (All The Bridges) and Ethan (Son of Issi NoHo) are going to kindly display some of their homemade caches which should hopefully inspire the rest of us to what can be achieved to hide future caches. There will also be a few of the more ingeniously simple hides for caches on display.
We will also be arranging a raffle, entirely separate to the normal monthly one, with 100% of all proceeds going to Ethan's charity of choice. Full details available at the event. Please note that this event itself is not being held in order to promote or raise funds for the charity.
As with all of Hants midweek meets, the chest will be available for the dropping, discovering and swapping of trackables.
Please log if you intend to attend, and please also indicate if you will be dining so we can let the Bun Penny know rough numbers for catering, thank you - they do have a online menu which can be easily found by searching for the pub's name and the word 'menu'.
Hampshire Rose, Issi NoHo, RockJockJuka, WaterfieldUSA and RBLR Dave (aka The Hants Motley Crüe) will be there from 6pm so maybe arrive a wee bit early and enjoy something from the menu with them.
