Along the dual carriage way heading south from Sydney, turn off onto the old Hume Highway where a Heritage sign stands tall. Here lies an unmarked rest area. Get out and stretch your legs.
Beyond the rocks, take a stroll along a beaten track between the bulrushes, running parallel to the highway. Along your stroll you will find an old water carrier.
If you wish take a picnic lunch and enjoy lunch at the supplied tables and chairs.
