Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Parson's Field/Rye recreation woods. From rte. 1 south in Portsmouth, turn left onto Lang Rd. (by Gibbs gas station) follow to end and turn left onto Washington Rd. The entrance to the trail is down a dirt road 500 feet ahead, just past Banknorth on the right. Parking is free.

This is the fourth cache by Beano and Brutus and the first cache we've put in New Hampshire, our home state (and our home town of Rye!). This cache is a rubbermaid container with a white top. There is an assortment of trinkets inside, so be sure to bring something to leave behind and sign the log! The cache is off the trail after a nice walk through Parson's Field/Rye Recreation woods. Most of the walk is fine, but once you venture off the path the mosquitos are vicious so it may be wise to bring some bug spray. You can access this cache from the path openings at the back of Parson's field or the Rye Recreation area. Happy Caching!~Beano and BrutusRye, N.H.
